ADVANTAGES
- Hygienic surface
- Significant savings in material costs
- Cost-savings due to minimal machining
- Heat-resistant and corrosion-resistant steel alloy
ADVANTAGE OF THE CIREX CASTING PROCESS
These forceps used to be forged. The forging process is replaced by the casting process to reduce machining. This results in considerable cost-savings. The forceps are cast in a high-quality steel alloy that avoids corrosion after contact with the human body. This steel alloy was selected because the forceps must be able to withstand high temperatures during sterilisation. The customer machines and polishes the 2 hand-grips prior to assembly.
